Programs

On each and every Monday night during the year Rabbi Yehoshua Zelikovitz teaches a class in Talmud.  On each and every Wednesday evening during the year Rabbi Yehoshua Zelikovitz teaches a class pertaining to the Parsha of the Week. For either of these classes when Rabbi Zelikovitz is not available Rabbi Shimon Golding ably conducts those classes.  On Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday evenings MBJC’s outreach director Rabbi Tamir Zaltsman teaches a class on Kabbalah and Hebrew Language.  On Shabbat afternoons prior to the Mincha services a Pirke Avot class is held.  When Eastern Standard Time is in effect, on Friday evenings a Torah class and Oneg Shabbat are held in various homes of MBJC’s members.  At least once a month Friday night dinners take place with guest lecturers.  MBJC periodically has Scholars in Residence who speak on Torah topics and other current issues relating to the Jewish community.
